OUR HISTORY GUIDES OUR FUTURE: PROPAGANDA IN THE MEXICAN REVOLUTION
Students in Art and History of Propaganda (AHOP) are invited to explore connections among the Mexican Revolution and current issues affecting Mexico and its diaspora, and disseminate their ideas—digitally and IRL—through a collaborative ‘zine. Prior to creating ‘zine pages, students study the history of the Mexican Revolution and the print artist José Guadalupe Posada, and are well-versed in the historical connections between printmaking and propaganda.
